Description
The National Scleroderma Foundation’s New Investigator Grant supports researchers in faculty or equivalent positions who want to pursue careers in scleroderma research. Projects should have the potential to lead to individual research project grants and a sustained research program.
Research must relate to scleroderma. Examples include lung disease, pediatric scleroderma, vascular manifestations, immunology, fibroblast biology, epidemiology, and health services research. The Foundation considers a project’s significance, approach, innovation, investigator qualifications, research environment, and responsiveness to its objectives.
