Description
The Virginia Space Grant Consortium’s New Investigator Program strengthens Virginia’s research infrastructure by supporting faculty who have not yet become established researchers. It provides startup funding for new research or expansion of existing research directly aligned with NASA’s mission. Faculty may propose work across the full range of NASA’s missions and activities, including science, engineering, and computational disciplines.
The funding is intended to help investigators establish their research careers. Proposed work must explain its relevance to NASA research priorities and show how it can be completed during the award period.
