Description
The New Jersey Agritourism Grant Program supports agricultural businesses seeking to attract, entertain, and educate visitors. Created by the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism in consultation with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, it draws on the state’s Agritourism Fund. The Department of Agriculture administers application review and awards.
Projects can expand or introduce agricultural education, entertainment, events, or marketing. Examples include pick-your-own activities, corn mazes, hayrides, agricultural exhibits, farm tours, and brewery or winery tours and tastings. The program aims to strengthen agritourism businesses, increase the industry’s economic impact, expand promotion, and share agritourism best practices.
