Description
The New Jersey Forest Service’s Urban and Community Forestry Program (NJUCF), within the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, offers competitive Stewardship Grants to help local governments care for urban and community forests. The Canopy Maintenance grant reimburses professional tree pruning, maintenance, and hazard tree removal on public property owned or maintained by a municipal or county government. Funding comes from the USDA Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Program.
