Description
The New Jersey Department of Agriculture and New Jersey Wine Board award project grants for research, development, and promotion of the state’s wine industry. Supported work includes research on viticultural and winemaking processes in New Jersey, market development, and promotion of New Jersey wine. Projects must benefit the industry as a whole rather than a single part of it.
The grants draw on the New Jersey Wine Promotion Account. The New Jersey Wine Industry Advisory Council recommends projects within available appropriations, and awards are subject to State Board of Agriculture approval.
