Description
The New Mexico Clean and Beautiful grant, administered by the New Mexico Tourism Department, supports projects throughout New Mexico that advance litter eradication, waste reduction, sustainable materials management, community beautification, and youth engagement. The program funds initiatives aligned with the New Mexico Litter Control and Beautification Act and works in partnership with municipalities, counties, tribal governments, public school districts, political and special districts, and other governmental units. Projects may include litter prevention and cleanup, recycling and composting, graffiti abatement, green space enhancement, youth education and service opportunities, and volunteer-driven community capacity building.
