Summary: Sustains existing quantum hub infrastructure and programming supporting quantum commercialization and company growth in New Mexico.

Key Information: Only recipients of the prior “Physical Infrastructure and Venture Studio for New Mexico Quantum Business and Industry Growth” award are eligible.

    Description

The Quantum Hub Continuation Award is administered by the New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Technology and Innovation Office (TIO). It continues the state’s 2025 investment in a quantum hub, supporting sustained operations rather than leaving the initial infrastructure and programming without resources for continued growth.

The award funds physical infrastructure that enables the advancement and commercialization of quantum technologies, alongside programming that attracts and grows quantum companies and entrepreneurs in New Mexico. Proposed activities should address infrastructure accessibility, industry development, startup support, and long-term sustainability. Target outcomes include creating or recruiting at least five quantum startups or relevant supply-chain firms and deploying at least $5 million in private capital into startups supported by the venture studio during the performance period.
