The New Mexico Innovation Hubs Grant is administered by the New Mexico Economic Development Department through its Technology and Innovation Office (TIO). Launched in 2025 with new legislative funding, it addresses gaps in entrepreneurial infrastructure identified in the state’s Science & Technology roadmap. The program supports the development, expansion, and improvement of physical spaces and facilities, including labs, offices, prototyping spaces, shared equipment, and collaborative environments.
These investments provide resources companies need to start, scale, and succeed in New Mexico. Innovation hubs support entrepreneurship and technology commercialization while contributing to the growth and diversification of the state’s economy. The program expects alignment with one or more TIO priority sectors: Advanced Computing, Advanced Energy, Aerospace & Defense Systems, and Bioscience.
