Description
The New Mexico Match Fund – Matching Grant, administered by the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), provides state funding to help eligible New Mexico entities meet the non-federal match requirements of federal grants. The program is designed to maximize federal investment in New Mexico by ensuring that state, local, tribal, and public organizations are able to access and leverage federal funding for projects in infrastructure, research, economic development, energy transition, and other priority areas. At least 40% of available funds are reserved for rural, frontier, and tribal governments, supporting equitable access across the state.
