    Description

New Music Inc. is New Music USA’s city-specific incubator for small-budget, artist-centered new music groups and organizations navigating pivotal stages of organizational growth. The 18-month program combines financial investment, hands-on support, and peer-to-peer learning. Cohorts bring together leaders representing a range of musical genres, neighborhoods, and backgrounds, with a local Program Coordinator working closely with participants to help them reach their goals.

The initiative focuses on organizational capacity building and meaningful transitions, giving participants opportunities to share knowledge, resources, and experience with other creative organizations in the same city. Originally launched in New York City in 2020 as the New Music Capacity Building Program, it has since expanded to Baltimore, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
