Description
This opportunity seeks a qualified not-for-profit entity to serve as the Statewide Administrator and Technical Assistance Provider for New York’s Section 8 Making Moves Program (MMP). The selected administrator will oversee a network of local nonprofit mobility programs, manage federal funds, set statewide policies, track outcomes, and provide technical assistance to ensure effective delivery of mobility counseling, landlord engagement, financial incentives, and post-move support. The goal is to help Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher families—especially those with children under 12—move to well-resourced neighborhoods with better educational and economic opportunities. Duties include annual planning, compliance monitoring, strategic reporting, and fostering partnerships to advance best practices in mobility counseling across New York State.
