The New York Truck Voucher Incentive Program (NYTVIP) provides financial incentives to fleet owners in New York State to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles, non-road equipment, and select transit buses. The program delivers point-of-sale vouchers to eligible public, private, and nonprofit fleet operators, reducing the upfront cost of qualifying electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and equipment. Additional bonuses are available for small fleets, vehicles operating in disadvantaged communities (DACs), and for scrapping older diesel vehicles. The program aims to reduce emissions, improve air quality, and promote the transition to cleaner transportation technologies across New York State.
