The Newell W. Johnson Travel Award supports new investigators in low- to upper-middle-income countries with travel to present research at the IADR General Session & Exhibition and share it with the IADR community.

Description
The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) administers this travel award for new investigators residing in low- to upper-middle-income countries. It supports their attendance at the IADR General Session & Exhibition to present research in any area represented by IADR Scientific Groups and Networks. The award aims to encourage new investigators to undertake research and share their work with the IADR community.
Dr. Newell W. Johnson donated most of the funds that established the award; contributions from other IADR members completed the endowment. The next General Session & Exhibition takes place June 23–26, 2027, in Melbourne, Australia.
