Description
The NFL Club Matching Grants Program is run by the National Football League Foundation to help NFL clubs identify and support youth and high school football needs and growth opportunities in their markets. Through matching support, clubs can develop or support a single initiative or multiple initiatives that address issues facing the game while promoting youth and high school football programs.
The program includes three categories: youth and high school football activities, expanded access to athletic trainers, and capital improvements to sports fields. Youth football support can include local activities and national events such as the NFL Flag Championships. Athletic trainer projects may involve partnerships with healthcare providers, colleges, and hospitals, while field projects support construction or refurbishment within NFL markets.
