Description
The NFL High School Football Coach of the Week program honors high school and flag football coaches who demonstrate exceptional leadership, dedication, and a commitment to player health and safety both on and off the field. Each week during the football season, NFL clubs select coaches who have made a significant positive impact on their teams and communities. Recognized coaches receive a $1,000 grant for their school's football program, which can be used for facility upgrades, equipment, or other football-related needs. At the end of the season, each NFL club also selects a Coach of the Year, who receives an additional $1,000 grant. The program culminates in the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year award, which recognizes two national winners for their exemplary contributions.
