Description
The NFL High School Football Coach of the Week program, run by the National Football League Foundation, honors high school and flag football coaches who exemplify dedication, leadership, and a positive impact both on and off the field. Each week during the high school football season, a local panel in every NFL market selects a Coach of the Week, who receives public recognition and a $1,000 grant for their school's football program. At the end of the season, each NFL club chooses a Coach of the Year from among the weekly winners, awarding an additional $1,000 grant. The program aims to support player health and safety, fundamental skills, and leadership in youth football.
