Description
This NIH Common Fund initiative supports continued development of the Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Data Resource Center through a U2C cooperative agreement. Developed through the Office of Strategic Coordination and administered by the National Cancer Institute, it supports a cloud-based resource for accessing, querying, analyzing, and sharing genomic, phenotypic, and other associated data from childhood cancer and congenital anomalies cohorts.
The goal is to accelerate discovery of genetic causes and shared biological pathways across these conditions, ultimately supporting more targeted therapies and interventions. The center combines a Data Resource Core, a Data Coordination Core, and an Administrative Core. Its work includes improving the data portal and analysis tools, harmonizing cohort data, coordinating data releases, and collaborating with NCI’s Cancer Research Data Commons on controlled-access data.
