Description
The NIH Director's New Innovator Award is designed to support exceptionally creative early-stage investigators who propose bold, innovative research projects with the potential to transform important areas of biomedical or behavioral science. The program is part of the NIH Common Fund’s High-Risk, High-Reward Research Program and welcomes applications from all fields relevant to the NIH mission. It complements other NIH programs that support early-career researchers and is intended for those who have not yet received a substantial NIH independent research award.
