    Description

The NIIMBL eXperience for Educators RFA supports organizations that plan and host two-day immersive educational experiences for K–12 educators and counselors. Run by the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL), the program combines hands-on activities, industry engagement, and networking to introduce participants to biopharmaceutical manufacturing, career opportunities, and educational pathways for their students.

This is a workforce education opportunity rather than a research-study grant. Its goal is to equip educators with foundational industry knowledge and resources they can use to inform and inspire students, make STEM lessons more career-relevant, and strengthen the industry’s talent pipeline. Hosts recruit and select educators, coordinate logistics, and engage industry, academic, and professional partners. Applicants may propose multiple two-day sessions to broaden educator reach.
