Description
The NFL Foundation administers this grant through an expanded partnership with Nike and the NFL, providing NFL clubs with resources for designated youth and high school football activities. Funding supports boys high school 11-on football, girls high school flag and girls flag football, youth and high school coaches clinics, and an Indigenous Program. Eligible expenses include shirts, equipment, programming costs, and travel.
The Indigenous Program supports collaboration between NFL clubs, local Indigenous nonprofits, and other organizations to deliver football-based youth programs in Native American communities. Through Nike’s five-year, $3.2 million investment, the partnership aims to increase opportunities for Native American and Indigenous youth to participate in football and break down barriers to sport.
