New Jersey Health Foundation (NJHF) funds projects addressing societal needs in health and wellness, human services, education, community development, behavioral and social science, and social services. Supported work can improve health outcomes, address mental health or crisis intervention, support special-needs populations, strengthen families, improve public safety, or support community centers.
The program also includes behavioral and social science research examining how and why individuals behave and how they interact with one another and their environment. Such research belongs in this program rather than NJHF’s Research Grants program. This opportunity has its own guidelines and review criteria, distinct from those used for Research Grants.
