Description
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) administers this grant to help disadvantaged communities participating in the Water Bank’s Technical Assistance Program plan and design clean water and drinking water infrastructure projects. Funding supports planning and design costs associated with that technical assistance work.
Supported infrastructure includes wastewater treatment facilities, stormwater management facilities, water supply facilities, and nonpoint source management facilities. Projects must relate to the technical assistance scope of work and be reviewed by NJDEP and determined eligible for Water Bank funding. The program draws on NJDEP’s State Fiscal Year 2025 state appropriation.
