Description
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection offers these grants to help disadvantaged communities participating in the Water Bank’s Technical Assistance Program plan and design environmental infrastructure projects. The work must relate to the project’s technical assistance scope and help advance an eligible Water Bank project.
Projects may involve wastewater treatment, stormwater management, water supply, or nonpoint source management facilities. The grant supports planning and design costs rather than projects that have already closed on a Water Bank loan. The New Jersey Water Bank is a partnership between the department and the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank that supports clean water and drinking water infrastructure.
