The Administration for Community Living (ACL) anticipates supporting states and territories in modernizing their No Wrong Door (NWD) systems. The program aims to strengthen statewide systems that help older adults, people with disabilities, family caregivers, and others identify, access, and navigate services and supports that enable community living.
NWD systems provide person-centered information, counseling, eligibility support, and coordinated connections to public and private services. This opportunity supports innovation, strategic partnerships, and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve access, coordination, and the consumer experience while maintaining person-centered practices. A key objective is to build evidence about effective approaches for improving access to services.
