Description
Established by the Licking County Foundation in 2018, the Changemaker Award recognizes young leaders who improve quality of life in Licking County, Ohio through community service, civic engagement, philanthropy, or public leadership. Presented through Youth Philanthropy of Licking County (YPLC), the award celebrates exceptional leadership, dedication, impact, and innovation. Each recipient is honored with a charitable contribution to an eligible organization meaningful to them.
The award emphasizes service that brings people together, inspires volunteer involvement, or starts and leads community projects and organizations. It values sustained commitment and measurable results, including people served, programs developed, volunteers engaged, funds raised, community improvements, policies influenced, and partnerships created. Creative responses to community challenges—such as new programs, unique solutions, new audiences, and unexpected partnerships—are also recognized.
