Description
Nominated Fellowships at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) supplement its regular Visiting Fellowship scheme. They enable Schools within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences to nominate scholars from outside the University whose research contributes directly to the sponsoring unit’s research plans and the Institute’s current interests.
Each fellowship provides up to three months for intensive collaboration with a number of staff. Fellows receive a private office at IASH and are expected to participate fully in the activities of both the Institute and the sponsoring group of scholars. Acceptance depends on the appropriateness of the research proposal and the availability of space during the proposed visit.
