Description
Managed by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), this grant supports scholars presenting their research at the society’s Annual Meeting. It is intended for non-professorial and/or non-tenure-track faculty, including those teaching part-time or full-time outside tenure-track lines. Non-teaching scholars, such as librarians and staff, are also eligible, and independent scholars will be considered.
The award supports conference participation rather than a separate research project. The application describes assistance of up to two nights at the conference hotel, and ASECS will award up to five grants by lottery. The 2027 Annual Meeting takes place in Portland, Oregon, from April 1–3, 2027.
