Description
The Nonprofit Capacity Building grant, offered by the Vermont Community Foundation, is designed to help Vermont-based nonprofits and municipalities strengthen their organizational effectiveness and long-term sustainability. The program invests directly in consultant-led planning activities, such as strategic planning, financial sustainability initiatives, merger planning, diversity and inclusion policy development, and board/leadership training. The goal is to enable organizations to serve their communities more effectively, make informed decisions for the future, and build long-term resilience. Grants are not intended for operational costs, staff training, or implementation of plans, but exclusively for high-level planning work facilitated by professional consultants.
