    Description

The Community Foundation of St. Clair County offers Nonprofit Leadership Capacity Grants to support continuing education and professional development for nonprofit leaders. The program invests in the knowledge, skills, and competencies leaders need to guide stronger organizations and better serve the community. Eligible learning opportunities include conferences, skill-building workshops, and post-secondary credentials or classes.

The Foundation offers a limited number of these grants, with preference given to organizations working in food and shelter. Applicants are encouraged to discuss their ideas with Audrey Sochor, including how the proposed learning opportunity could help nonprofit leadership build a stronger organization. The program uses the Foundation’s shared grant application process, through which the Program Team routes requests to the appropriate committee.
