Description
This grant, administered by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS), provides funding to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Cook County, Illinois, that are at high risk of terrorist or extremist attacks. The program supports physical and cyber security improvements, including equipment installation (e.g., alarms, reinforced doors, barriers), cybersecurity enhancements, contracted security personnel, and select planning, training, and management activities. All projects must be based on a vulnerability assessment unique to the applicant site and completed within three years.
