Description
The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) supports Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) efforts to strengthen communities against terrorist or other extremist attacks. Its purpose is to enhance prevention, protection, preparedness, and response capabilities among nonprofit organizations and state, local, tribal, and territorial governments. The program forms part of a broader set of measures authorized by Congress and implemented by DHS.
