Description
This grant funds research and innovation projects aimed at strengthening food security and resilience in the Nordic and Baltic regions. The call targets preparedness and crisis response in food systems, critical infrastructure, and the increased use of regionally produced food. Projects must be collaborative, involving research-performing organizations from at least two Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Faroe Islands, Greenland, or Åland Islands), and may include Baltic partners (Estonia, Lithuania). The initiative seeks to address both acute shocks and long-term systemic challenges, supporting evidence-based policy and improved cross-border cooperation.
