Description
The Welch Foundation’s Norman Hackerman Award in Chemical Research recognizes the accomplishments of chemical scientists in Texas who are early in their careers. The award honors Norman Hackerman, who chaired the Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board from 1982 to 2006.

It is made annually, when warranted, to a scientist conducting chemical research in Texas.
