Description
Norris Area Community Foundation is a community fund of East Tennessee Foundation supporting projects that benefit residents of Norris, Andersonville, Bethel, and Fairview in Anderson County. East Tennessee Foundation’s Grantmaking Team administers the competitive grant process, with funding directed toward community benefit in these four communities.
Funding preference goes to proposals addressing youth and young adults, military recognition, humane care of animals, arts with a cultural or historical perspective, support for seniors, or public safety. All forms of art are included in the arts priority. These priorities guide selection, but any project that enhances the community will be considered. Funded projects must demonstrate significant community impact using both qualitative and quantitative data or information.
