Description
Norwegian Arts Abroad (NAA) is a collaborative network of organizations dedicated to promoting Norwegian art and culture on the international stage. Through member organizations such as the Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA), Music Norway, Performing Arts Hub Norway (PAHN), and others, NAA administers grant schemes that support artists, curators, and professionals across disciplines—including music, performing arts, crafts, visual arts, design, architecture, literature, and film. The primary aim is to facilitate international participation, exhibitions, projects, and collaborations for Norwegian and Norway-based creatives, strengthening Norway's cultural presence globally.
The International Support scheme, a central component of NAA, provides funding for travel and production expenses related to international projects. Funding is competitive and juried, with a focus on artistic quality, project significance, and the potential for long-term impact.
