Description
NOSTRADAMUS Open Call #1 is a cascade-funding call run by the EU-funded NOSTRADAMUS consortium. It supports the design, development, testing and validation of open-source digital applications for farm decision-making and agribusiness, focusing on cereal-based systems and food security. Applications should optimise water, fertiliser and pesticide inputs, improve energy balance and strengthen production resilience.
Selected projects will build on NOSTRADAMUS infrastructure, including multidimensional Open Data Cubes, Analysis Ready Data Earth Observation pipelines, real-time IoT streams and socio-economic datasets. The 12-month programme provides infrastructure access, training, mentoring and real-world use cases through four sprints: training, design, development and validation, and demonstration and assessment.
