    Description

The Notre Dame–DCU Exchange Grant supports international collaborative research in precision biomedical technologies through personnel and knowledge exchange. The program brings together Notre Dame’s Berthiaume Institute for Precision Health (BIPH), Dublin City University’s Life Sciences Institute (LSI), Notre Dame Global, and Notre Dame Dublin. It seeks to build research relationships with measurable impact and increased engagement, creating a path toward externally funded cooperative grants.

Research interests include sensors for biosurveillance, diagnostics, and physiological, exposome, or environmental monitoring; novel therapeutics involving medicinal chemistry, drug delivery, or pharmaceutics; technologies addressing health disparities; human health–environment or microbiome studies; and health security. Supported activities include proof-of-principle research and travel facilitating collaboration or the exchange of ideas and materials. Projects involving graduate or postdoctoral researchers are encouraged.
