Description
The Novo Nordisk Foundation awards this prize to a team of two or three teachers whose joint work has made an extraordinary contribution to educating and qualifying university students in the health sciences across the Danish Realm. The Foundation aims to showcase teaching that can inspire others internationally. Its Committee on the Novo Nordisk Foundation Teaching Prizes selects the recipients from nominated teams.
The prize combines personal recognition with an educational grant to the recipients’ university. The team uses that grant to develop health sciences teaching, building on both its achievements and its ambitions for students’ learning. Possible uses include experimental equipment, upgraded teaching facilities, development projects and study visits to other universities.
