Description
The Novo Nordisk Foundation awards this annual prize to a team of two or three university teachers whose joint work has made an extraordinary contribution to educating students and developing their qualifications in technical sciences across the Danish Realm. The prize aims to highlight teaching that can inspire others internationally.
It combines personal honorary awards with an educational grant to the recipients’ university. The team must use the university portion to develop technical sciences teaching, such as through experimental equipment, upgraded teaching facilities, development projects or study visits to other universities. The prize is presented at an annual teaching symposium or a celebration at the recipients’ university, and the team’s achievements and teaching ambitions are featured in Science magazine.
