    Description

The Novo Nordisk Foundation supports further education through the University of Copenhagen’s Master in Science Teaching (Master i scienceundervisning). The scholarships help upper-secondary science and technology teachers connect practical teaching experience with current science education research. Funding covers course fees and release time for study, supporting professional development alongside continued employment.

The programme comprises 60 ECTS credits, equivalent to one full-time year, delivered part-time over three years. The 2027 cohort studies inquiry-based science teaching, learners’ prerequisites and learning culture, educational research methods, evaluation and feedback, and IT, learning and technological understanding in science education. It concludes with a 20-ECTS master’s project running from autumn 2029 to spring 2030.
