The Novo Nordisk Foundation’s Visiting Scholarship in Art and Art History brings talented international researchers and artists into Danish research and educational institutions. It supports ambitious, excellent projects within art history and fine arts that demonstrate relevance to both the visual arts and the research environment at the Danish host institution.
The program aims to enrich Danish institutions with insights into current international movements in art and art history. Visiting scholars must participate actively in departmental research and teaching, for example through masterclasses and short courses. Scholarships may involve collaboration between Danish institutions and can comprise one continuous visit or a series of visits at collaborating institutions.
