Description
NOW Grants are part of the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette’s Community Grants program, supporting the work of local nonprofit organizations. The program primarily funds capital projects, including items such as furniture, HVAC units, and computers. On occasion, the NOW Grants committee also supports compelling new programs or start-up projects, an option offered specifically through the NOW grant cycle.
The Foundation evaluates proposals for their potential impact on the Greater Lafayette community, the community needs they address, and the organization’s ability to sustain the project. Its six grant impact areas are Arts and Humanities, Education, Environment and Animals, Health, Human Services, and Public Society/Benefit.
