Description
This opportunity funds a coordination network for Mission 2 of the UK National Quantum Strategy. Led by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of UKRI’s Quantum Technologies Priority Programme, it aims to strengthen the UK’s quantum networking and communications community and support progress towards secure, scalable quantum networks and a future quantum internet.
The network will connect Mission 2 research projects with industry, network operators, policymakers, infrastructure providers and end users. Through community-building, knowledge exchange and stakeholder engagement, it should identify shared challenges and opportunities, promote the uptake of research outcomes, and connect research with testbeds and demonstrators. It must complement existing investments rather than duplicate funded projects’ activities.
