The NRDC Climate Storytelling Fellowship is an annual program produced by NRDC’s Rewrite the Future in partnership with The Black List, CAA Community + Impact, NBCUniversal, and the Redford Center. Its goal is to support writers in revising feature screenplays or pilot teleplays that meaningfully engage with climate change. Selected fellows receive $20,000, six months of mentorship from industry professionals and climate storytelling experts, and opportunities for their revised scripts to be showcased to major studios, agencies, and production companies. Writers retain all rights to their work and benefit from creative support and industry exposure.
