The NSCA Foundation funds research that advances strength and conditioning. This grant supports doctoral investigators pursuing studies relevant to the field and consistent with the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s mission. It is a research grant, not a coaching advancement grant.
The investigator conducts the study through their academic institution with guidance from a full-time university faculty mentor. The mentor is responsible for the project’s successful completion and for fostering a positive learning environment. Institutional review board (IRB) approval must have been or be obtained through the applicant’s academic institution.
