Description
The U.S. National Science Foundation’s GRANTED program supports innovative models of research enterprise administrative development and workforce training infrastructure. Its goal is to build sustainable research capacity and opportunities for economic impact in U.S. organizations. Supported areas include research development and administration, analytics, technology transfer and commercialization, corporate relations and public-private partnerships, research integrity, compliance and security, research policy, student research training administration, and research leadership.
The program focuses on the support-and-service infrastructure that enables organizations to pursue and manage externally funded research and translate its outcomes. Projects should look beyond individual or discipline-specific needs, creating organization-wide impact with potential for regional and national impact. GRANTED seeks scalable models, stronger collaborations and communities, broader project leadership and organizational participation, and greater engagement across the national research enterprise.
