Description
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s New Technology Implementation Grant (NTIG) Program supports projects that put technologies to work in Texas. It funds technologies that reduce emissions from stationary sources and oil and gas activities, as well as projects that store electricity generated from renewable energy sources.
Stationary-source projects target criteria pollutants, hazardous air pollutants, or other pollutants regulated under the federal Clean Air Act or by TCEQ. Oil and gas projects may address activities from production and completions through gathering, storage, processing, transmission, and refining. Examples include compressor-engine replacements, repowers, and retrofits, and systems that minimize gas loss, flaring, or combustion. Proposals must show a substantial plan for timely implementation in Texas and continued operation and maintenance.
