Description

This grant supports nurse-led research projects that generate evidence to improve outcomes for women, newborns, and families. Emphasizing clinically focused, outcome-driven studies, the program seeks projects directly relevant to nursing practice and patient care, especially those addressing urgent challenges in women's health, maternal and neonatal health, health equity, mental health, and neonatal outcomes. Proposals must align with AWHONN’s research priorities, including building the science of obstetric, neonatal, and reproductive health care, fostering interdisciplinary research and training, and evaluating the impact of educational resources on patient and nursing outcomes. The grant encourages innovative, collaborative research with the potential for meaningful impact on healthcare delivery and patient wellbeing.
