--- ## Description The New York Community Trust's Long Island: Ongoing Competitive Grants program provides funding to nonprofit organizations addressing a wide range of community needs in Long Island. Funding is awarded through a competitive proposal process, with applications accepted until the stated deadline. --- ## Due Dates - December 31, 2026: Application deadline for Long Island: Ongoing Competitive Grants (2026) --- ## Funding Amount - There is no set minimum or maximum grant amount. - Project grants are typically awarded for one to three years. - For universities, hospitals, academic medical centers, and affiliated nonprofit fiscal sponsors, overhead costs for grant administration may not exceed 5% of the total project budget.
