Description
The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is a competitive, peer-reviewed grant program that awards $8,000 unrestricted cash grants to individual artists and collaborative teams residing in New York State and/or its Tribal Nations. The fellowship is designed to support artists’ creative vision and voice, rather than specific projects, and is open to artists at any stage of their career. Each year, five artistic disciplines are eligible, rotating on a three-year cycle to cover a total of fifteen disciplines. The program is made possible through funding from the New York State Council on the Arts, with additional support from private foundations and donors.
