Description
This opportunity supports a network of nonprofit organizations (SCR sites) across New York State to locally regrant NYSCA funds and deliver technical and organizational development assistance to artists and cultural groups. The program aims to strengthen local arts ecosystems, ensure equitable access to funding, and foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and access (DEIA) in the arts. SCR sites administer regrant programs in community arts, arts education, and support for individual artists, while also receiving administrative support to sustain their outreach and technical assistance efforts. The grant is intended to advance the cultural vitality of New York State by empowering organizations to reflect the diversity of their communities in programming and workforce.
