Description
The American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation (CHF) funds high-impact scientific research to prevent, treat, and cure canine disease and help all dogs live healthier lives. This OAK cycle supports studies investigating disease processes, applying fundamental knowledge to develop solutions to canine health problems, exploring outcomes-based solutions in clinical settings, or combining these approaches.
Projects may address any of CHF’s 25 Research Program Areas. Priority is given to research responding to demonstrated areas of need, fostering critical discoveries, or producing outcomes that affect canine health care. The program emphasizes sound scientific work aligned with CHF’s mission, including its commitment to supporting the dissemination of canine health information.
